On 09.06.2017, our journey together with our heartdog began and today, in retrospect, has changed our entire life for so much better!

We didn't always see it that way...

Back to the beginning... we bought a miniature bull terrier puppy back then. From the bottom of my heart, with full joy of such a sweet creature, without hesitation, blind with love and full of euphoria.

The disillusionment came quickly! The worries and sorrow for our little puppy were part of everyday life from now on. At the age of 10 weeks, the little one began to develop conjunctivitis and itching in his ears.

An odyssey of doctor and clinic visits began. We were prescribed antibiotics for inflammation and cortisone for itching. For a few days we thought everything was all right again, but our eyes and ears became our construction sites, always in intervals. The eyes were red, sticky and usually small or swollen. His ears were itchy, fiery red and hot or filled with smelling black chunks. We did everything we could to get these symptoms under control again. Ear cleaner and eye ointment and again and again cortisone and antibiotics as tablets. He was also diagnosed with giardia and another parasite infection. In addition, he was prescribed a worm treatment, a commercial on and Panacur as a weekly cure. He was just 12 weeks old and had already been given five medications.

Getting up in the morning hours every day was almost like “waiting for it.” Are the eyes stuck together or is it running out of the ears again? Did the drugs help or do we have to see a doctor again? It was terrible, always worried what else could we do to make life easier for our beloved furry friend? He had behavioral problems, couldn't get calm and was constantly itchy. He rubbed his eyes sore with his front legs and scratched his ears bloodily with his hind legs. We tried to stop it and stop him from doing so, but with each time, his anger grew and there was more and more conflict between us. The little guy was in this world for so short and everything was in trouble. Our relationship suffered insanely as a result.

Frustration increased daily, both among humans and animals. We just felt helpless and desperate. The constant fumbling and treating the dog to doctors became increasingly difficult and as the preparations no longer had the desired effect, the inflammation also got worse and worse. One purulent ear infection after another followed and the little one was unable to rest due to pain and itching. The same game over and over again... a few drops here, a few ointments there, pills to suppress, etc. Everyone told us it was all normal. The doctors were already formally questioning what kind of topic we would make of it. But the fact was that our dog had not been free from inflammation since he was 10 weeks old.

It was said that he was allergic, followed an exclusion diet and cortisone therapy again.

Of course, it wasn't that easy and our entire lives were focused on it. It was organized, the day thought through and planned. Family life, as it once was, focused only on our dog's illnesses and the plan to help him. We spent hours and hours on the Internet, researching and looking for solutions, googling the search terms “ear infection dog” a hundred times for optional options.

The slightest glimmer of hope was seized. We changed the healing method from conventional medicine to naturopath, entrusted ourselves there to achieve the best.

At the beginning, we were impressed by the approach and the therapy. However, even here, we were proven wrong after a short time. The health conditions of our now young dogs were up and down in a dramatic curve. The symptoms did not diminish, but got steadily worse and were followed by further symptoms.

We can still remember very well that within a short period of time, his nose doubled by two times from morning to morning. This is a state of shock for every dog owner. Is it the dog food? Was he stabbed? What is wrong again? Dog in the car and as an emergency to a naturopath, thrown overboard again the whole day and the pull of worry and anxiety struck us again.

The naturopath explained to us a severe tooth root infection, which must be treated immediately and hard to believe, but once again with cortisone. The naturopath wanted to clean his ears because everything was highly flammable again and then it got even worse! Our dog got such a bad ear infection, which caused him such pain that he literally screamed. As a result, in addition to the pack, he was given painkillers. We also had giardia again, which was once again treated with Panacur and then with Metronidazole, in addition to a completely insane hygiene plan that we implemented over several weeks. The whole situation came to a head!

Our dog had full body pain, cramped again and again and received injections in the back, between the vertebrae, from a naturopath. This left him with massive trauma and caused further cracks in our human-dog relationship and a bond could no longer arise because he no longer had confidence in us, in life and in doctors at all.

We never thought about costs and our will to mobilize everything in our power to help this little guy was our top priority!

In the circle of family and friends, we were nothing more than a dog owner. We were so trapped in our tunnel full of fears, worries and always ready to do everything we could to distance ourselves from the outside world. We were able to get the behavioral problems under control with the help of a great dog trainer and a fantastic animal communicator and our relationship slowly but surely became better and more harmonious, but the health problems were getting worse and worse. Constant ear infections, itching, full body pain, and foreskin infections had become our everyday life. We went to the vet clinic and a naturopath about three times a week.

Each approach was a brief moment of hope, but it was never long-lasting and nothing led to the 100% success of the recovery. It went from veterinary clinic, kinesiology, naturopath, hair analysis, etc. Pontius to Pilate. Always with the goal a bit more clearly in mind and then a dramatic relapse. Our limits seemed to be reached and our nerves were almost at their wit's end, without exaggerating! We continued to search for the cause of all our dog's inflammation and pain.

During animal communication, it turned out that pressure was felt on the heart and lungs. As a result, we collected all our savings and had our dog turned upside down in the clinic. Full body CT, colonoscopy, all blood values for the tenth time and, at our request, a heart scan and an X-ray. The diagnosis was devastating. incipient heart valve insufficiency, acute pneumonia, chronic ear infection and intestinal inflammation. The treatment included long-term therapy with cortisone, a long-term antibiotic and three heart medications with acid blockers to protect the stomach. It was said that he was an allergic person and that we were only allowed to give hypo-allergenic food. All this with a 2-year-old dog!

With constant tears full of despair, we surfed the Internet again for days because we knew one thing after these diagnoses! None of this can be the cause, but only worsening symptoms!!!

When we became aware of a video by Dr. Franz Spitzer, which describes such an “allergy spiral,” our ordeal fell off our eyes like dandruff and gave us new hope! Somehow we felt that this person could help us and we immediately booked a telephone appointment. We thought to ourselves, an online vet, how would that work? We did it anyway. Our last hope for us, because our dog was getting worse and worse... the medication was eating him and he only had dull fur, was emaciated and his ears were in catastrophic condition. He had frequent flare-ups with full body pain and was quickly exhausted and tired.

It was a phone call that changed everything afterwards!!!

It's been a good 2 years since we really lived the program with ups and downs!

We are thankful for every single day that we have seen this beautiful little dog soul return to life, joy, relaxation and complete recovery. We live in a state of bliss and relief. Our hope, our stamina, our unconditional belief in healing, but above all our hearthound, has always shown us the right people at the right time who have supported us in achieving our common goal!

He now lives without medication and he is healthy and is fed completely naturally. There is no sign of allergies anymore, the ears are completely healthy, the lungs are completely healed and the heart valve insufficiency is stopped and partially regenerated early enough and in good time! For us, it always feels like a miracle that we were able to leave all this behind us and that our darling can be healthy! We have our lives back today and on all levels, much more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. In particular, today we have a wonderful human-dog relationship full of gratitude and trust!

Thank you dear Franz and team for everything you've done for us and we now do every day for all the wonderful dog souls!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How is it supposed to work online at all?

In Question 4, all acute complaints and pain conditions are listed where direct physical intervention on your dog's body by a local veterinarian is really necessary.

For all other symptoms not listed there (especially if they have taken a chronic course), intervention on-site does not provide sustainable healing!

Symptoms are merely suppressed or diseases "managed," and what is always missing is the clarification of disease causes – and this clarification is very well possible online, i.e., remotely.

Through detailed anamnesis, the individual step-by-step plan, and long-term collaboration, we can demonstrably help you and your dog better than if we physically touched them! We obtain all necessary information through pictures/videos and interviews.

Since we work exclusively online, you can reach us from anywhere and receive daily answers to your questions.

Moreover, your dog is not subjected to the considerable stress associated with visiting a veterinary practice every time.

3. I already feed raw (BARF). Is the program just about nutrition?

Nutrition is one building block in the regeneration process, but not the only or most important one. In our coaching, we have defined 6 central points that are indispensable for dog health based on experience. Therefore, it takes much more than just nutrition.

5. How long does the collaboration last?

Just as a plant doesn't grow faster or a child doesn't grow up faster just because a person wants it to, your dog's healing also requires time and patience.

Depending on the symptoms, chronicity, previous medication, age of the dog, and also the cooperation or implementation by the owner, physical regeneration of your dog usually takes between 3-6 months, sometimes longer in severe cases.

Ultimately, many other factors play a role in regeneration. We always adhere to the iron principle: "The pace is set by your dog."

7. My dog currently has no symptoms. Does participation still make sense?

Definitely. Before the body shows symptoms, there is a long period during which your dog's organism tries to heal itself within its capabilities. Only when this is no longer possible and the regulatory or regeneration processes in the body are overloaded do symptoms occur.

Therefore, your dog shouldn't wait to show visible signs before you take action. The idea of prophylaxis is a central building block of our work to spare your dog (and you) a lot of suffering.

2. Can you help if my partner is skeptical?

Even if your partner is skeptical, there's initially nothing standing in the way of collaboration, with one exception: He/she must not be categorically against it!

We humans often have a different opinion than our fellow humans and also often than our partner. Both opinions are equally valid.

Recognizing that both can be right means a whole new possibility and creates new space for you in your partnership!

A certain skepticism is indeed healthy, and we can discuss any concerns and fears. We always recommend asking the partner for trust! This gives them the opportunity to get their own picture of the collaboration. If one of the two is really categorically against it, we refrain from collaboration.

We don't want to convince anyone because this conflict is not a good companion for healing. The healing process always requires a joint initiative and harmonious cooperation. This can look very different, and we discuss how exactly in the joint conversation.

4. Which acute complaints can't you support with?

For the following acute problems, medical first aid by a local veterinarian is indispensable: Accidents, bone fractures, bite wounds & injuries, gastric torsions, poisonings, foreign body removal, and tumors/cancer. Here we can support you in the aftermath.

Neutering and vaccinations (which we advise against) are, of course, also a case for the local veterinarian.

6. Can I participate from abroad?

In principle, yes. Most of our participants come from the D-A-CH region. Participation from Luxembourg and Liechtenstein is also unproblematic.

Due to the different local conditions and circumstances in other countries, there may be implementation difficulties in the program, as certain aids may be difficult to obtain.

If full implementation of the program is not possible due to the local conditions at the applicant's place of residence, we refrain from collaboration under the principle of an honorable merchant.

8. Where exactly is your practice, or where do I have to go with my dog?

We DON'T have a local practice, and you don't have to go anywhere with your dog to work with us! The greatest advantage of this 100% online activity is explained under Question 1. This way, you can take care of your dog's health regularly from anywhere. The concept of a local practice is completely revolutionized.

With our many years of experience with now over 1000 dogs, we can assure you that (except in the cases specified in Question 4) NO physical contact with your dog is necessary for us to support you.

Are you ready to take a new path with your dog?

We provide you with the necessary knowledge and all required tools.
